  • Orientation to Starting a Business in Minnesota: The orientation seminar will help you learn more about whether self-employment is the right path for you.  It illustrates some of the risks and rewards of starting a small business. You will need to attend an orientation seminar and complete a draft business plan before requesting one-on-one counseling with SBDC.
